I'm still hoping to make something of it, I do like it.
Looking forward to pictures of the green one!Karinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06491845092977999733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907433213687980973.post-7080175578850589082010-02-15T06:55:46.665-08:002010-02-15T06:55:46.665-08:00Very cute! Looking forward to seeing 'the real run' and your Macaron!Nathaliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11570545194570856281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907433213687980973.post-44608020677795047562010-02-15T01:29:24.408-08:002010-02-15T01:29:24.408-08:00Hi Maree! Instead I followed your tip to increase the armhole a little - but I don't think it makes too much of a difference as the kimono sleeves are not meant to be fitted. I thought about the shoulder pads but my swimmer's shoulders do not need to emphasised more in a blouse.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments - I'll post the green one this week - it did turn out much more nicely.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04070809028433760473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907433213687980973.post-8356179283075268402010-02-14T21:51:03.793-08:002010-02-14T21:51:03.793-08:00Lovely!Lovely!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907433213687980973.post-8445717914460663032010-02-14T16:56:48.670-08:002010-02-14T16:56:48.670-08:00Hello Rachel - this blouse turned out so well - I ...Hello Rachel - this blouse turned out so well - I love it - I think the 1930s is one of the best sources for blouse/shirt ideas. Did you include the shoulder pads? You are quite right about quilting cottons for clothes - they do not have the right drape.Mareehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02195132013611277577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907433213687980973.post-10676688228840742672010-02-14T06:32:28.699-08:002010-02-14T06:32:28.699-08:00So cute!
